Valerie Monson joined our team in 2023 as Private Staff.  In the office she supports Jamey Pesek with database management, client record maintenance, account opening and activity tracking.  She is an NDSU grad, bringing 32 years of customer service experience to her role, having worked in the financial services industry since 2006. 

Outside the office Valerie and her boyfriend David are active with Operation Check Six, a nonprofit organization serving military members and their families.  OC6’s goal is to promote healing for trauma survivors through art, music, and education.  In their free time, they enjoy hosting dinner parties for family and friends, excursions to little-known historical sites/museums, and Clint Eastwood movies.  Valerie is a rockhound, always on the lookout for flashy minerals or petrified wood and has propagated a small jungle of houseplants.
